University Adult HospitalThe University Hospitals and Clinics are the teaching hospitals for all Medical Center education programs and a 722-bed diagnostic and treatment referral center for the entire state. The hospital medical staffs are appointed from the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. Inpatients total about 27,000 annually with more than 418,000 outpatient and emergency visits every year. |

Blair E. Batson Hospital for ChildrenA special hospital for children, the Blair E. Batson Hospital is staffed by pediatric specialists -- physicians who have completed a residency in general pediatrics and then have specialized further by learning about one particular body system in children. |

Conerly Critical Care HospitalAn intensive care hospital linking the adult hospital, the emergency department and the operating and surgical suites. It provides: Coronary Intensive Care, Neuro Intensive Care, Medical Intensive Care, Surgical Intensive Care, and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit for children and adults. |

Jackson Medical Mall Nearly all of UMMC's medical specialties are represented with clinics at the mall. Services also include radiologic services including mammography, a cardio-pulmonary rehab center, a diabetes education center, artificial kidney unit and the Adolescent and Child Tobacco (ACT) Treatment and Research Center. Planning is currently underway for a comprehensive cancer research and treatment center which also will be housed at the mall. |

Medical PavillionThe University Medical Pavilion at the University of Mississippi Medical center is the first freestanding clinic in the United States to employ the mall design in the delivery of outpatient health care. All basic services are under one roof. |

VA Medical CenterThe (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, with 163 operating beds, provides primary, secondary and tertiary medical, surgical, neurological, and psychiatric inpatient care. Its primary service area is home to more than 125,000 veterans with about 45,000 unique patients and more than 300,000 patient visits. Services include radiation therapy, magnetic resonance imaging, hemodialysis, cardiac catheterization, sleep studies, substance abuse treatment, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), hematology/oncology, and rehabilitation programs. |

Wiser Hospital for Women and InfantsMississippi's only comprehensive hospital for women and infants, the $37.7 million facility is a six-story contemporary structure with 160 beds. The hospital offers tertiary health services for women throughout the life cycle and for newborns in the first few months of life. |
