Biography:
Dr. Porter completed his surgical internship, residency and post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He served as Chief Resident from 1990-1991. Dr. Porter also completed a fellowship in trauma and surgical critical cares at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to coming to UMMC, Dr. Porter was a member of the medical staff at the University Medical Center in Tuscon, AZ. Dr. Porter has been with UMMC since 2007.
