Biography:

Dr. Ahmed is a graduate of Punjab University. After serving as Surgical House Officer and Surgical Registrar in Pakistan, Dr. Ahmed came to New York for his surgical intership and residency. He was a fellow in surgical critical care at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center & Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in Bronx, NY. He also completed a surgical residency at Huron Hospital in East Cleveland, OH and was an ASTS fellow in multi-organ transplant and Hepatobilliary surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Prior to coming to UMMC, Dr. Ahmed served as the Director of Trauma Services at Huron Hospital.
