Residency programs at the University of Mississippi Medical Center require state licensure.
After an application has been reviewed, invitations for interviews will be extended. During the interview day there will be a tour of the medical center and opportunities to speak to residents at various levels. Interviews are held on a Thursday and Friday in January and February. Interviews will be limited to 12 applicants each day.
The deadline for application is December 31. An applicant without United States citizenship must have a J-1 visa in order to be employed as a resident at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
